Deep Bed Bag Filters

Welcome to Bison Filters range of Deep Bed Bag Filters for HVAC Systems. Why are they called ‘Deep Bed’? Because the filter media they are manufactured from is high loft media (10-15mm deep). These filters have a filtration rating of G4-M5 and are designed to remove a variety of airborne contaminants, such as dust, pollen and larger particles and are typically installed in older AHU and Package units. They were an Australian designed filter and are gradually being upgraded to Multi-Pocket Bag Filters with 20mm header.

Key Features of HVAC Deep Bed Filters:

1. Polyester Media:

These filters are made out of progressive layer polyester media, with high dust load capacity, providing exceptional filtration performance. However, it's important to note that due to their inherently low filtration surface area, there may be a slight increase in pressure drop over time.

2. Precision Craftsmanship:

Our filters are meticulously cut out of premium polyester media and skilfully sewn into a wide range of shapes and sizes, ensuring a precise fit for your HVAC system.

3. Economical Filter:

These filters are relatively low-cost. However due to the design of the filter the replacement of the filters in maintenance is generally labour intensive and dirty.

4. Optimal Airflow in High Volume Applications:

Engineered to handle high air flows, these filters are rated for a face velocity of 2.5 m/s, making them suited to Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Package Units.
